We haven't sent a newsletter in a while as we have just been flat out busy. With the business, with the kids, homeschooling, the garden, music; just living life. There is a huge amount of exciting news to share with you so please catch up with all the happenings here at Engaging Minds.

We have been waiting for so long to get this available to you and now we can. The M.U.S video lesson and the instructional Manual are now available on Demme Learnings amazing Digital Toolbox platform. Purchase through us like you normally would and we will send you are code to set up your digital toolbox account online! Instructional manual and DVD still available for those who prefer hardcopy.
We are proud to announce that we are partnering with Cambridge University Press to carry stock of their wide range of books.
The Cambridge pathway to qualifications and the quality of curriciulum is gaining traction here in NZ and we kept getting asked to stock them! We haven't yet managed to put each book up on our website yet but it is coming asap. You can order through the downloadable PDF order form on our website or email us and ask.

Chatting about IEW with Sheena from Homeschool Coaching
I recently had the privilege of chatting with my friend Sheena from Homeschool Coaching as a guest on her Podcast, The Practice of Homeschooling. We chatted all about the Institute of Excellence in Writing, commonly known as IEW. A favourite English and Writing curriculum we have both used and loved. There was so much to share and explain we ended up chatting for 2 episodes!
If you have ever wanted a little more info on IEW, what it is and how to use it, then this is worth a listen. You will hear from the perspective of 2 homeschool mums who have used it with their families. Episodes 3 & 4.

Coming into the busy Christmas Season
As things start to ramp up in the lead into Christmas - open your eyes to all the beautiful learning opportunities all around you and your family. Can you make small gifts with your children for those that have blessed your family this year? Can you learn about the history of Christmas from Around the World - Peace through Grace has a family based Unit Study on just this!
We will still be here over the Christmas Season but we will definately we trying to take a wee step back from the business for a few weeks over Christmas and New Years. (its really hard to do running an online business) Our stock levels are good going into 2026 so we should have what you need on the shelf but if there is something you need for the very start of Term 1 2026 then we do suggest you grab it now and save the rush at the start of the Term next year!
